The Prince of Wales visited Royal Brompton Hospital in December 2015 as patron of the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Trust to mark the charity’s 50th anniversary.
The adult CF centre on Foulis Ward is one of the largest in Europe. His Royal Highness The Price of Wales met staff and patients on the ward and spent time talking to them, before unveiling a plaque to commemorate his visit.

After the unveiling, he said:
"I am so delighted to have a chance of visiting the hospital and the unit here, which I know does such wonderful work on the cystic fibrosis front, but also I am so proud to become a patron of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in its 50th anniversary year."
